Re: Connection keeps dropping

If it a very recent connection, then indeed it will be SOGEA.

Re: Connection keeps dropping

Cheers, @ghamilton123 . A bit of research into that message seems to be in order - I'll see what I can find, but it may be later.

Re: Connection keeps dropping

@ghamilton123 - Here's a graph of your connection @ http://visualradius.plus.net/visualradius/generated/image16984195269754.png we wouldn't really take interest in the 1 drop alone, we're looking for more than 3 drops in 24 hours or 6 in 72 to consider there to be a fault on a service using copper. The team have the details you sent them and when we review the account, we'll check to see if anymore drops show over the next days or so.

Re: Connection keeps dropping

@ghamilton123 - Those drops are from before the engineer visit, what I mean is that I wouldn't be too worried about the 1 drop after the engineer visit as that may have just been a deliberate drop by the DLM or even a automatic test. Over the next few day the CAT team will be reviewing the fault to see if more drops happen after the visit.

Re: Connection keeps dropping

@ghamilton123

It will be nice to compare the Hubs >Advanced Settings >Technical Log >Information to what was posted on the 21st Oct

A  csv file would be fine again make sure you hide your broadband username.

@jab1

There is nothing unusual in the DSL down message posted above, my only comment it could just be a DLM after midnight reset/maintenance event

Re: Connection keeps dropping

@Dan_the_Van The 'Error_no_carrier' comment is the one that interests me - you do see this on the odd occasion, but I have, as yet, not been able to find a comprehensive explanation for it. It certainly does not appear in many of the logs when people have posted them at the times when constant 'DSL Down' messages have appeared.
