I find the TG582 gives me a good enough signal around the house but only gives me one bar of signal in the garden and I would like to improve that.
What do you think?

Can you detail how you did it?
Did you flash the 64k CPE via ssh under merlin and use one of the third party DD releases via the web upgrade?
The wireless performance is all I needed to hear before jumping ship to DDWRT.

mtd-erase -d nvram
to clear the nvram.
rebooted.
uploaded the new firmware.
went back into telnet and erased the nvram again and rebooted again.
then went in as usual.......had problems on the last version....think the wired connection completely locked out.
on merlin the wireless works but its not as good when im sitting on the loo with my ipad lol

Seems like it tries to connect to both frequencies and the router doesn't like it (getting an error in the log).
