.org domains - Is there a DNS problem?

My domain is down. I first noticed problems with email this morning. My website is inaccessible and I can't ping my domain. I have checked the domain using 'whois' and renewal is not due until late 2008. I can only assume there is a problem with the DNS servers. Has anyone else had a problem?

This is what is reported (name obscured for privacy):
[ERROR: The parent servers say that the domain xxxxxxxxxxxxx.org does not exist. Note that the DNSreport only works on domains, not hostnames.]
This would seem to indicate a problem as it certainly does exist
