Re: Suddenly Caller Display shows an International incoming number

Regular calls I receive from Spain and USA are still showing as International. Maybe I just have to wait for my exchange to be upgraded.
This change won't mean, however, that sales calls won't get through still. It means you will be able to see their number and report it, or they can block their number which is what they do now.

Re: Suddenly Caller Display shows an International incoming number

It used to be easy - International Unavailable either ignore or pick up and put down quickly
Now I need to look at the number and with the state of the display on my phones (a lot of bits missing) it is much more difficult

Re: Suddenly Caller Display shows an International incoming number

At last the calls from my daughter in Ireland show up with her name instead of international!  Now I know not to pick up when it's not her.

Re: Suddenly Caller Display shows an International incoming number

'Evening all.
Slightly OT but my caller id display has just stopped working altogether!
Bought new phone,BT4500, and when up and running it displayed caller number but
a few minutes ago it stopped. Checking with #234# the lady says "callers identities will not be displayed"
Any ideas please?

Re: Suddenly Caller Display shows an International incoming number

'Morning all. Fixed it! As everyone knows, except me! #234# turns caller ID OFF and *#234# turns caller ID ON……
But in my defence when I dial *#234# with the new BT 4500 phone I get told I have mis-dialled and to check
the number and try again. The way round this was to use the old Panasonic phone. So it's not a PN problem
but a phone problem.
BT here I come.
I hope this may help someone else with the same problem.
