npower.com unreachable for some Plusnet customers

I can't, other Plusnet customers I know cannot either, and third-party web services suggest it's down, but I can access it via my mobile (O2 3G network) so it would seem to be a peering rather than server issue, possibly with Level3.
Plusnet support say it's working fine though. Have sent them a traceroute for analysis.
Mystified, so wondered if anyone else could shed any light...
Edit: gateway for our connection is currently ptn-bng01

Frankly not being able to connect to nPower has a lot going for it. They are the worst energy supplier I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They cannot get their billing right and once you get into dispute with them they put accounts over to debt collectors even before they've sent the bill out.
Avoid at all costs!
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

And that works? That's pretty much exactly the traceroute we get, where it doesn't, dead-ending at 208.51.142.250.

Is this Level3 having fun with the traffic again? or dare I say it, Black Friday traffic causing reroutes.

You are one very lucky fella.
Nine months after ceasing service with them and paying the final bill we are still in dispute with them and their agents. There is very little I regret in life, but doing business with these people I do regret - it has been painful and expensive.
