Unable to connect to Technicolor 582n wireless router using IP address

Never had this problem before - any ideas?
W7 Pro, Chrome & IE, ethernet connection.
All else is OK.
Both browsers just sit there for about 20 seconds before reverting to the home page but still "waiting".
(Haven't rebooted it yet as have to go out.)

Reboot to absolutely ages but worked.
