Router Disconnecting in the Night

Hi guys,
My internet is disconnecting in the night. But, it doesn't always do this. Do you guys have any suggestions on anything I can do? I even manually raised my SNR to 10dB and it still disconnected. This is with a D-Link DSL-2640B. I also have a Netgear DG834GT and it does it on that as well. Another router I have is the 2Wire 2700HGV. Which is very good. But I haven't been using it as it's been a bit funny recently.
But, on my old provider, when I was set to 6dB and and on fast path, my connected would stay up for days and days with no disconnections. So, is there anything I can do? Nothing has changed in my setup.

Have you tried connecting it to the test socket to see if it still drops out?

I will try it in the test socket in about 10-15 minutes. Could you run some tests from your end?

Why change it now when we've got the speed back to 6000?

Because it was connected for two days at 7400 and then it suddenly disconnected.

I would still say to leave it for now unless we see the speed affected.
