Probably because the 1st router hasn't allocated it an IP address via DHCP and hasn't seen any network traffic from its IP address. It might show up if you access the 2nd routers web interface ( 192.168.1.63 ) from something connected to the 1st router. That way it will have seen network traffic from the 2nd router itself and not just from devices connected via it.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I have an old netgear router configured/used as wireless AP/ethernet switch, and it doesn't show up as a device on my primary routers lan, but when devices (wlan/lan) are connected to the AP they do show up as being connected to the lan port on the primary.

Just to say thanx to all repsonses on my thread , much appreciated , only thin I have to do now is route the cable , which should be fun.
