Re: Faster uploads?

Upload speeds aren't dependent on your package, to get faster uploads you either need ADSL Max Premium or ADSL2+.

Upload speeds aren't dependent on your package.

Not strictly true as our Business Option 3 account is automatically provisioned on IPStream Max and offers up to 832kbps upload speeds. Similarly ADSL2+ will be offered by default on the Premium and Pro packages. ADSL2+ isn't available on Value.
You can request IPStream Max on any package for a surcharge of £7.83 pcm.

Re: Faster uploads?

Surely that's gone back to £8 with the VAT increase?
Yep, it says £8 on the page you've linked!

Re: Faster uploads?

I'm guessing you mean £8 there Bob now that VAT's back up to 17.5%?

Re: Faster uploads?

I started wondering how to improve my upload speeds, now I find out that my unlimited package has been cancelled.  If that is the case why am I paying £15.99 for a service that I am not receiving if all residential contracts are reduced to 10 days and not the 18 months that i signed on for..

Re: Faster uploads?

Unlimited has been removed from sale but anyone already on it (like yourself) will get to keep it if you wish. Alternatively you can change to a different product from the current range.

Re: Faster uploads?

Unlimited hasn't been cancelled - it just isn't available to new users.
My account is called PAYG - have you even heard of that? (They stopped selling it a couple of years ago). Plusnet don't force existing users to change when they replace the packages available to new users or for existing users upgrading.

Re: Faster uploads?

but they did alter all contact (except business) to one month with 10 days notice - but if you have certain extras, router, house move you are liable to pay for them
