Wordpress login time outs?

Seems like wordpress is timing out your login when SMF isn't.  This appears like you are still logged into the forums, but not anywhere else and have to log out and in again.  Angry

Logout, Log back in. Did you change your password - if not, it's not related to this. If you did, then it is.

Current theory is that SMF updates the login time out each time you use it, but wordpress doesn't.  This means that eventually wordpress logs you out, but SMF doesn't, which causes all sorts of havoc.

I've bn experiencing a lot of time outs lately - but
don't know if I'm operating on Wordpress of SMF...
Can I check which?

If the URL begins http://community.plus.net/forum you are in SMF, anything else is Wordpress (I think).

I am struggling to reproduce this, all my testing is not showing the cookie dates for SMF changing versus the wordpress ones.

Not seen any more reports of this, we'll keep an eye out if it happens again.
