You'll need to post some stats from your router to help us.
More information here http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/frogstats.php
Cheers

Interesting that Output Power 0.0 dBm - I would have though it would say something (what I dunno)
Have you :-
a) run a BT Speed test ?
b) tried using the router in the TEST socket (need to give the stats as before)

It means that another device (IP address 192.168.1.3) is attached to your router either via Wired or Wireless connection. Laptop ? Desktop ? Printer ? Smartphone ?

Quote from: stallan OK... So with my (limited) experience a 29DB downstream attenuation should give a higher sync than what you have at the moment. I have a 27db attenuation and sync around 14000 (which is still a shade on the low side according to Kitz stats http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/max_speed_calc.php )
Interesting that Output Power 0.0 dBm - I would have though it would say something (what I dunno)

Yes I have. I have no test socket behind plate for some reason. I have tested my router on another broadband connection and it worked ok. However, this was not ADSL2+. Plusnet are going to send me a test router one day if they ever get round to it. Be quicker to get my own. Mystery continues.

Download speedachieved during the test was - 263 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :9726 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 444 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 7150 Kbps
The throughput of Best Efforts (BE) classes achieved during the test is - 20.15:42.97:36.88 (SBE:NBE:PBE)
These figures represent the ratio while sententiously passing Sub BE, Normal BE and Priority BE marked traffic.
The results of this test will vary depending on the way your ISP has decided to use these traffic classes.

Quote from: Oldjim Can you disable the wireless completely and try connected by cable to the router
Yes. I have just done that. Wifi disabled. On cable connection now. Makes no difference to the speed.

Quote from: stallan and also state what your PlusNet Profile says https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed
Estimated line speed:
Not recorded (service activated before we introduced estimates).
Current line speed:
7150
I am getting a better response from you guys than I receive when I create a support ticket with Plusnet. It takes days, if they respond at all. Thanks.
