how to delete a invalid CLSID

Can anyone help how do I find and delete the following :
The COM component CLSID\{1171A62F-05D2-11D1-83FC-00A0C9089C5A} references an invalid CLSID. These are often left behind after uninstalling software.

Re: how to delete a invalid CLSID

Try ccleaner which can find and remove orphaned registry entries as well as lots of other things.

You can just open regedit and search for the clsid once its found it simply delete it. To be safe save the key as a .reg file  first  by selecting export so you can put it back should it be the wrong one.

Re: how to delete a invalid CLSID

Looks like that is for Adobe flash, are you having problems? There shouldn't be any real need for you to delete the key.

I think you can download an uninstaller for flash from the Adobe web site which might help.
