Why and how or if to go M2 SSD
I have 2 x 2tb wd black storage drives with a 250gb ssd (840evo) and despite having upgraded in place from 7x64 to w8.1pro and reinstalled all the programs I still have over 150GB free space on the ssd, although I was rather ruthless with using the built in ability to repoint the entire users directory to one of the storage drives.
also with respect to the PCI/PCIe based drive options, they screw up your graphics, sound and USB speeds because its all running through the same bus, although it was funny watching a video of a rig that was scoring over 50k in 3dmark get one added and have it score 15k, that's what turned me away from them despite them being cheaper 4 years ago when I was building my rig with an ssd for the first time
