I have a wireless bridge connecting to a friends house a mile away as shown on my site. This uses 14dbi antennas on each side and Dlink access points.
Five years ago when I set this up there was absoultely no wireless networks in the area and most people didn't even know what it was.
Now when I do a "Site Survey" on the 2 access points I can find a total of about 20 networks. I am guessing I am finding all networks within about a mile or so of my house and my friends house on the other side. I live in the country with houses dotted around, not in a town.
I even found a BT Openzone which confused me as there is no businesses within 3 miles. I am guessing someone has gotten there hands on a second hand BT Business router.
