Technicolor router wifi not working

I am having problems connecting devices by wifi. The devices pick up a strong signal but they will not connect but for a few seconds.  Any ideas?

Re: Technicolor router wifi not working

When a wireless device tries to connect it can spend several tens of seconds checking the wireless pass key before it concludes it is wrong and you rarely get any message indicating the cause of the failure to connect - i.e. wrong password.  So you need to eliminate that possibility.  On a PC, write out the password in Notepad so you can see all the characters.  Passwords are case sensitive.  When you have the password exactly as it appears on your router, cut and paste it into the appropriate box (using CTRL and v to paste).

I don't think it is a problem with the pass key.  Everything was ok with all devices until they all stoped connecting.  Should I try a reset on the router itself?

Yes.  But if resetting the router fails then it's probably time for a new router.
