Switch from Windows to Mac

I want to move away from using a Windows PC  and start using an Apple Mac. Will I need to go on a course to learn how to use a Mac or is it straight forward

Re: Switch from Windows to Mac

i picked it up very quickly, you don't need a course.
if you get it from an Apple store someone will take you through the basics.

Re: Switch from Windows to Mac

I made the switch years ago with ease. In the end the basics of a GUI are not that different. Google for common replacements to Windows software you're used to. And cheapest way to make the switch is a Mac Mini, so you can use your old keyboard/mouse/screen.

The cheapest way is to load Linux onto your PC, it has a selection of GUI's!
Cost = zero

Re: Switch from Windows to Mac

Hackintosh, saves buying an entire mac, can run the MacOS on PC hardware aswell as giving you the option to dual or tri-boot between Windows, MacOS and Linux (if required)... Smiley
