Re: Plusnet Hub One

Even though you can't turn it off, you can of course change the SSID at >Advanced Settings >Wireless
You can't leave it blank though as a space is not allowed as the first (only) character and some other characters aren't allowed as the first or in the string, but the on-board Help should tell you that (I'm assuming this is the same as other A type hubs - I don't have a Hub One in front of me).
With the Hub lights they are more 'warning' lights rather than anything else except as dvorak has mentioned the single Blue light means all ok. If you select >Advanced Settings >Hub Lights and then click the on-board Help and select Hub Lights you should get a comprehensive list of all the light states - unless Plusnet's customised firmware has modified it Roll_eyes
There's also a basic online Hub One manual

Re: Plusnet Hub One

Change the SSID name to "IWillStealYourDetails" and give it a long random password. See if anyone wants to use that named wireless connection.  Wink

Don't believe so. Your best bet at the moment is to contact our Customer Options Team and recontract for a period of time.

Re: Plusnet Hub One

Just a little question about this.  Is the Smart Wireless feature the same thing as Automatic channel selection as on the Techincolor tg582n?

Re: Plusnet Hub One

The answer is Yes. But not to be confused with 'Smart Setup'  which is "a Smart Setup wizard to help you set up new devices when they are first connected" - that's by ethernet or wireless on your Home Network.

Re: Plusnet Hub One

I was using some wifi monitoring app on the phone - and on my HH5 router info  it says "sagemcom broadband" - so that is who seems to make this router for the BT group???
But looking at sagemcoms website I can't see a model like it - so maybe it's probably specially made for BT and maybe other major ISP's Huh

Re: Plusnet Hub One

Re: Plusnet Hub One

Jim, the Hub One, like the HH5A supports G.INP on the Downstream only.  A certain poster giving you hassle on TBB is talking **** right out of his ****-****, as I understand he frequently does Shocked

Not telnet based but there is basic monitoring software available: http://www.vwlowen.co.uk/RouterStatsHub/routerstatshub.htm

Thanks for the link w23 Smiley

seems to work ok.

Are you referring to it working ok on the 5A or the Hub One?
