I want to run my PDQ machine using internet and not a telephone line, I have been told by Barclay Merchant Services, I need to unblock ports 10000 and 45555 to inbound and outbound traffic.
Anyone know how to do this?
Peter.

There isn't any outbound traffic blocking but if it needs unsolicited inbound traffic unblocked and routed to the PDQ m/c then you need to :-
1) forward the relevant ports on the router to the PDQ m/c see here for help with that http://support.zen.co.uk/kb/Knowledgebase/Broadband-Technicolor-TG-582-Configure-Port-Forwarding
2) ensure that your PN firewall is set to OFF https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=firewall (login with your member centre details) NB if you need to change the setting then you will need to disconnect & reconnect your connection at the router for it to take effect
