Oscillator 87J

I raised a question about the Oscillator 87J that was left by the BT engineer last week and Plusnet said they would get back in touch with me as soon as BT are able to collect it but its been a week since Plusnet have called me or emailed me about it and the piece of equipment is still with me and i'm still wondering when someone will come and collect it?

If BT don't want it I could offer it a good home.  Wink

Re: Oscillator 87J

Normally referred to as a tone or a clucker, is used with its mate, the amplifier Smiley

Re: Oscillator 87J

Its used for pair identification, you put the tone on one end of the line and it emits a sound, and the amplifier picks the sound up at the other end, when you short the pair out the sound stops, so you know you have got the correct pair.
