MAC code.

I am moving from TalkTalk to Plusnet from TalkTalk. Plusnet have requested a MAC code, talktalk are not making it easy for me to obtain it. Is it essential that I provide Plusnet with the code.

Are you on Fibre? If you aren't and are on ADSL then that's LLU (unless you are on a Market 1 exchange), so I don't think you need one. If you are on Fibre or a Market 1 exchange, than TalkTalk have no choice but to provide one. Make sure you've given them the relevant notice and remind them they are obliged to give you one and if they fail to do so promptly, tell them you will make a formal complaint to OFCOM - and do so.
