Hi Lee.

Trying to access this URL from my welcome email;

https://booklet.plus.net/welcome-to-fullfibre?utm_source=customer-res&utm_medium=email-triggered&utm...

Following the link results in "Safari can't open the page because it couldn't connect to the server."

Martin.

Re: welcome to full fibre guide, its broken

If you have a question about set up, it would be more productive to ask the question on the FTTP board, rather than fret that the link to the (old) on-line guide is non-functional.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: welcome to full fibre guide, its broken

Haha can't believe this is still a thing!

Tried looking at the original link to see if it had gone past $48000 but the link is completely borked.

How ridiculous... Probably a new link but plus net haven't updated the email links... Wonder how long this will keep on going for!

Re: welcome to full fibre guide, its broken

That statement is of no use if you do not state where the loaction of this board is.

Also if it is so important then why is Plusnet sending out this broken/non-working link in their new emails to new customers, to this very date?

Re: welcome to full fibre guide, its broken

It is reasonable to infer that if you’ve found your way here to raise an issue over a broken link, that finding the FTTP board in the same space did not need sign posting. If it helps - https://community.plus.net/t5/Full-Fibre/bd-p/FTTPtrial

Do you have an issue you need actual help with? The routers ship with an installation guide. The user support pages also have online guides for the routers.

Re: welcome to full fibre guide, its broken

What a condescending and unhelpful reply.

I am a new customer receiving a "Welcome" email from Plusnet with a link that doesn't work (how would I know this is a link to an old guide and why is that even relevant?) and so I am feeding back to Plusnet that there is a problem with their email.

This would seem to be exactly the right Board for that given that it's called "Feedback"!

And I don't need setup help - haven't got that far yet (thanks OpenReach!).

Re: welcome to full fibre guide, its broken

Exactly.

I received no help on here so gave up a long time ago. It is not helped by Plusnet sending out non-working links in their emails.

Why nobody on here cannot give a working link to the "correct" location is a mystery.

This answer is both misleading and patronising. Please provide details of how I can complain about this reply.

Re: welcome to full fibre guide, its broken

Good afternoon to all that have commented here, our apologies for the delayed reply.

The issue with the link has been raised several weeks back and it's still being looked into, I have escalated this today for further information and I will update this topic once we have an update.

For clarity, this link is not necessary in the order journey and just has some helpful information related to the full fibre service. In the meantime, for those that want to know more about our Full Fibre connection while awaiting for their service to go active, they can use this link which has all the information necessary:

https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-setup-guides/hub-two/full-fibre/

I hope this helps
