Will plusnet consider offering BT Vision?

Just a thought , as its clear BT group are in the process of expanding BT vision, with the purchase of sports rights and the  new you view boxes, will the BT group offer Plus Net customers the chance to sign up to the BT vision service.
Clearly they will need to maximise the return on investment and its would be seem odd not to offer the service to part of BT groups customer base.

Re: Will plusnet consider offering BT Vision?

All the Vision content is on the WMBC Dedicated network, where as we provide our services on the WMBC Shared network which means we don't have direct connectivity to the content.  We've been looking at options for years though.  Nothing on the radar right now, but keep telling us what you want.
What sort of thing are you after?  Exactly like Vision?

Re: Will plusnet consider offering BT Vision?

in all fairness I don't mind how you do it at moment  I have PN broadband and phone BUT I have sky crappy TV ....
sky customer service sucks **** and I want to get rid of it....
but I don't want free view /free sat as they lack channels
id rather throw my money at plus net and get good customer service
last time I called sky to order a new box as my old one stopped working I had to spell out my name and address
don't have this problem with PN yes  have had one or 2 but complaints have been listened to and sorted
id just rather have all my services in one package with a company I can trust and rely on

Re: Will plusnet consider offering BT Vision?

BT is now offering a free Youview box with its infinity package. I suggest PN call up their daddy BT to see what's going on.

Re: Will plusnet consider offering BT Vision?

thing is Rongtw I can still see PN keeping their rep for broadband and phone... main thing that would let them down is if they had a overseas call centre ..... but after how it went down when BT took over I cant see that happening

Of course but as Kelly said we are looking at options so we'd be keen to know what you guys would look for in such a service.

Re: Will plusnet consider offering BT Vision?

For me personally if you were going to add a TV package I would welcome a collaboration with the Sky Go service rather than the less than impressive Vision. Sky Go is very good and getting better by the month but the fatal flaw in any TV plan, PN need to overcome it's usage caps, would be a complete waste of everyone's time and money to offer any kind of service on a limited plan...............

Re: Will plusnet consider offering BT Vision?

I was thinking a service similar to BT's You View vision service .
