I phoned Plusnet last Friday, 15/05/2015, with the news I was moving over the weekend to a council flat. A bit short notice but I'd only been allowed to see the flat that day and the rent was to start on Monday. Anyway, had a nice chat with the outcome been my phone and broadband would be ceased on the 16th at the old place and connected at the new place on the 27th. Well after moving in and finding a place for everything, finally got round to setting up my router and phone today. Imagine my surprise to find the line was active. Switched my laptop on and here I am :) :) :) Thank you very much for a very speedy outcome. Fantastic customer service :) :) :) Regards gtowen
Oh dear :( , may have been a tad premature. Phone line is live and broadband is connected to Plusnet, hence my typing on here, but unable to make any phone call. Any number I try and call results in an auto message saying the number is unrecognized. Not a biggie, still pleased the broadband is on :) an allthought mobile signal is not good I can live with it till the official day of switch on :) gtowen
Hi there gtowen :) Looks like the connections have been established which is why you can get online, but the orders haven't been completed yet. When the orders are closed off on 27/05/2015 you should be good to go on the phone call front! If you still can't make phone calls on the 28th May, let us know and we'll investigate :D
