Re: Thinking about leaving

We supply our phone services through Openreach.
I think you are confusing this with how we bill for calls?

Re: Thinking about leaving

Confused  Huh
If the phone is supplied via Openreach and not BTw why are you setting your charges based on Btw prices and not BT Openreach prices

No idea  Cheesy
We pay Openreach to provide a telephone line service and features, but we pay Wholesale for the actual billing of calls.  Don't ask me how or why, I only work here Smiley

Obviously I am, didn't realise there was a difference, complicated isn't it Huh

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@RobPN (and others reading)
When I say that the service that we supply is the same .....

Sorry James,  I've read enough posts moaning about various shortcomings of PNs phone service so whatever you say here won't convince me that I 'want' or ought to switch my phone service from BT to PN.  Besides, as I've previously inferred, why would I want to pay more for less?

Hi Rob,
I'm not trying to force you to do anything Smiley
I just wanted to clear up any potential areas of misconceptions - sorry if it didn't come across that way.
You'll always hear the bad stories on here - BT and every other service provider will have similar stories. I just don't want people to feel that we are worse than BT or any other supplier in dealing with phone faults.  I genuinely don't believe it to be the case.

Hi James
I wasn't implying that you or anybody else was trying to force me to change my phone service, but .....

it's not just the faults service, there are other features missing as has been discussed here and elsewhere many times.  Clearly the two services are not equal.
Plus, as I have said, my deal from BT is cheaper than any from PN (particularly because I use VoIP and don't actually make any calls via the landline (other than 6 non-chargeable calls per quarter to get the free Caller ID).
