Re: Thanks Plusnet

Welcome.
Lucky you i referred a friend who signed up on 21st September, supposed to be activated on 28th - fail (BT's fault). Jameseh is on the case for me but for some reason i suspect another failed activation on the 7th Oct.
They have been without  broadband for over a week now and boy do i feel stupid saying that in would be a breeze changing providers!

Re: Thanks Plusnet

Dennis - Yours is a bit different as we're moving you from one brand to another.
You should get some news on your ticket before long.

Re: Thanks Plusnet

Thanks James, I just find it a bit strange that seems to take longer to switch "in-house" than from one ISP to another.

Re: Thanks Plusnet

Often (I'm not sure in your case if this is true) we try to do it on your next billing date, so you're not paying what is essentially the same company, twice for the same service.

Re: Thanks Plusnet

My billing date is 28th of the month so I have missed that:
Greenbee Phone and Broadband charge for the period 28-09-2009 to 27-10-2009  is pending
I think that when I switched from Waitrose to Greenbee I got a refund for my "unused" part of the month.

Re: Thanks Plusnet

Thanks James, will do.
It's still showing as pending (invoice 17628631) in my Greenbee account although the money was taken from my bank account last week.

Re: Thanks Plusnet

Thanks Dennis.
I suspect that it's just waiting for the payment to be shown as taken on our side, which I'd expect to be in the next 24 hours or so.
