Switching from Metronet to Plusnet: process seems completely stalled

I'm moving my father's broadband service from Metronet under my account, to Plusnet under his own account (on the same phone line). We initiated the process on 13-Oct, targeting 1-Nov as the transfer date.
The transfer process now seems completely wedged and we're getting no status updates from Plusnet. Surely this should be easy, since both Metronet and Plusnet are part of the same group? The ADSL Status page just says:

We've found a potential problem on your telephone line. We'll look into this and will be in contact with you shortly.

The situation is described fully in support ticket #76088262. I'd be grateful if someone could investigate this. I'm guessing someone's dropped the ball.

I'm really sorry for the delay with your migration. I've had a chat with with one of the Provisioning guys who will be picking your ticket up shortly.

Still no apparent progress, and no communication. Even an ETA would be helpful.

My colleague, Ben is looking over this now as we speak. You should have, at the very least, an update on your ticket very shortly.
