I can certainly get something riased to the relevant people, but I need your help
Can we please start a new thread showing traceroutes to the portal, the amount of time it takes to load the pages (use fasterfox plugin if you can). Say which part of the portal your going to,, etc.
I might even make some pretty graphs.

First visit to https://portal.plus.net/index_portal.html since powering up PC today: 14.865s
Most pages visited from there taking about 5s, likewise closing tab and opening https://portal.plus.net/index_portal.html again took about 5s.

Current referrals from LH menu: 14.548s
Going back to member centre home page about 4.5s then CTRL+F5: 9.567s
From what I'm seeing I suspect it's anything that involves database lookups.
Wasn't there a project a couple of years or so ago called something like "xx second website"?
