I've connected it to the one gig port on my Billion to give me a 1gig switch. Still need the slower ports on the Billion though as I've 8 Ethernet connected gubbinses!

I have emailed them anyhow to see what they suggest, I have switched it off and on a couple of times but still the same.

So if it isn't a router, so why are people quoting all that high-end tech specs about these boxes.

It is a router, but it has been set up in bridge mode to use custom firmware, effectively disabling the normal routing/firewall functions. The WAN interface still uses DHCP to get an address etc. which is used to run the tests and accept configuration parameters (mine changed settings from 2.5Mb ADSL2 to 76Mb then 38Mb fibre).
At the time of applying, I specified a Gb local network, so got a 3600 on 2.5Mb ADSL2.

Yeah, but the USB ports are disabled, according to the blurb, and the wireless aerials are just for monitoring available WiFi. They don't transmit an SSID, anyway.
