Response time to questions

It's not urgent but how long (on average) does it take for a question to be responded to ?
The following question ref, Question #39783080 was posted at 3.22 pm Friday and is still awaiting an answer at 17.34 PM Saturday

I think it depends on where the question is directed.
In the linked thread I got one answered pdq but that was to the general accounts pool

On another post the average waiting time was 26 Hours & 44 minutes. This ticket was raised at 15.22pm Friday is still open at 15.00 pm Sunday, so that's almost 48 Hours.
I recall that at one time in the distant past Tickets were responded to within 6 hours or less.
If PN fail to reply within 7 days will it be automatically closed ?
