Recycle my old Plusnet router

I have recently upgraded to Plusnet fibre broadband and received a new router. I would like to recycle my old Plusnet router. How can I return the old router to Plusnet? Can someone please send me a free post returns bag?

thanks

There's a link to print a postage label here.

Re: Recycle my old Plusnet router

On leaving PN I was not aware of that router recycling page or even the options.

It might be a good idea to make leaving customers aware for their now, no longer used, router.

I can't remember, but I might have asked about it after leaving and received no response.

Re: Recycle my old Plusnet router

@newagetraveller the page has only recently been updated.

We do try to contact some customers by email and/or letter when they leave requesting return of the kit. Activity has been stifled recently though due to CV-19 as we didn't really want to be encouraging customers to go to the post office etc.

Re: Recycle my old Plusnet router

Hi Bob, I recieved one of the letters shortly after leaving Plusnet. I actually have a couple of other older routers from Plusnet, but without the power cables. Can I send these over as well?

Also, is it advisable to perform a factory reset on the routers before sending them?

Re: Recycle my old Plusnet router

@Marc455 sure, send them back. No harm in factory resetting them beforehand.

Re: Recycle my old Plusnet router

Are the old routers actually re-used, or are the recycled ie: broken up and made into something else only if they are sent back out to customers new and/or existing even if checked over there must be a fair few that can be termed as 'the walking wounded' with faults on them.
