Problem Solved Quickly

On Monday 5th July I raised a question via Gandalf regarding my upload speed that reduced by 50% over the last few days. Upload had remained at it's forecast level.

TheMightyAJ picked up the enquiry and found a problem on the phone line and he raised the fault with OpenReach.

This morning, (8th July) the  OR engineer was working in the road outside my house for a couple of hours. He then knocked on the door and let me know the fault had been corrected and would I check my internet speeds.

All were now OK, in fact the upload speed had improved on what it was originally.

Thank you to all concerned, great service again.

Re: Problem Solved Quickly

Thanks for the feedback @robski1

I’m glad to see Alex (aka @TheMightyAJ) picked up your message to me while I was out of the office and passed the fault onto an engineer, who fixed the problem at almost lightning speed. Smiley

If you’d like to pass on your thanks to the engineer, I’d recommend filling out this form on Openreach’s website https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/thank-an-engineer-form

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
