Post Code Lottery Pricing.

Is there any end in sight to post code lottery pricing on your current or future packages?

Re: Post Code Lottery Pricing.

You need to address that question to OFCOM as they control the prices BT Wholesale charge Plusnet.

Re: Post Code Lottery Pricing.

I will rephrase the question then...
Does Plusnet have any plans to raise the issue of post code lottery pricing with offcom?
Is it taking any action to try and improve the situation to get fair pricing across the board?
I would be interested to hear a response from plusnet on this one, and just so you are sure I am not trying to cause a problem here I just want to know where plusnet stands on the situation.
Thanks.

Re: Post Code Lottery Pricing.

I have to declare an interest as my exchange is now market 3 and I am still paying a market 1 price.
Sadly I'm not one to push things Sad

Re: Post Code Lottery Pricing.

If it is a market 3 exchange now then PN will be getting a discount on the broadband service, so you should also.
Just raise a ticket and ask.
In answer to the OP, Plusnet has no involvement in exchanges or influence over when other competing companies decide to fit their own equipment (which is what changes the market level for the exchange). I can't see what PN can actually do?

It's worth bearing in mind that these changes haven't been confirmed yet, it's just at consultation stage at the moment.
I can't see us doing anything until it's all confirmed, if that happens.
