Missed appt

I was expecting a openreach engineer today but no emails,messages or telephone calls so far.
I used the online chat service and the provisioning dept conceded I had an appt for today but the call was not confirmed?.
So despite having an email proving I have an appt for today this as clearly not been passed to BT.
Not acceptable!

Hi there,
Sorry that you were expecting an engineer today, however I can't see where we confirmed one was due? Looking at the account we sent you an email confirming the dates you selected but didn't confirm which (if any) had been booked. I appreciate that's not great anyway, and I can see that my colleague has advised we'll confirm the appointment to you as soon as possible.

These were not dates I selected but ones which were selected for me.

having to now wait until 12/11/15 is a very poor solution!
