Re: Migration Query

Hi James,
Since your phone call had another discon......down sync has gone up to 4112 and upload is now 618......so now seems uncapped.......
Snr down is 6db which is what I would expect.....
So I assume the re-set of DLM has happened.....
Is it possible you give me a quick call back, something I forgot to ask you.....ta

Re: Migration Query

All seems good still, no discons and kept sync at 4112....just waiting for my profile to go up now from 3000 to 3500 as with my current sync speed thats what my profile should be....

Excellent, thanks for that.
How's the upstream?

Re: Migration Query

Upstream is still 618.......not quite as good as it used to be, (750ish), but good enough......
With all the BT cappings and restrictions removed I have noticed downloads now download at a constant and consistent speed and not stop and start as before.....
BTW SNR margin has kept at a solid 6db so there doesn't appear to be any noise on the line effecting that....
What are the error seconds like you are seeing for my connection now?......I would expect them to be low.....Rami put some info in my ticket and I saw there was 1 error second.....

Re: Migration Query

Very small number (4) on downstream, none on upstream.

Re: Migration Query

Dogwhisperer, you absolute legend, I can't believe what you've had to put up with, it'd be like losing a limb having no internet, you have the patience of a saint and you had me in stitches sometimes reading this entire thread which took nearly 2 hours!
I'm glad you got it sorted in the end though.
