Re: Migration Query

Hi,
Just a quick update - this is now with a manager at OpenReach's Director Service Office.
HLE are trying to gain a further update for you which they assure me will be early this afternoon.
I'll give you a ring once I've heard back.

dogwhisperer, whilst I can understand your frustration and annoyance I don't think you are helping yourself by your rude and almost offensive remarks to those trying to help you. From experience James an Adam do put themselves to do as much as possible to sort out faults.

I dont care two hoots what you think, just stay out of it.....

I will be in touch later on today but I really do have to point out that resolution by the end of the day is extremely unlikely due to the amount of work required to resolve your fault - the pair that you are currently connected to is not ultimately the cause of the problem, but the unbalanced cable is likely to be the root cause.

I'm with dogwhisperer on this. If his router is syncing at 2000 but unable to log in, the cable may not be perfect, but it can't be that bad either.
It's blindingly obvious that either something is incorrectly jumpered at the exchange or Plusnet have something configured wrongly.

Thank you jelv,
At last someone who knows how broadband works, perhaps you can give training sessions for people at plusnet as they have no idea.......
I suspect all that is required is a lift and shift at the exchange to sort out BT's latest dodgy wiring episode......as the PTO's cocked the last job up it was prob them which left me with no sync, as they dont venture out I doubt anyone checked if there was sync at the cabinet.......so when i complained someone got the sync back but didnt bother with the rest of it........

I am getting fed up of listening to plusnet saying they have escalated my problem, nothing ever changes and its like ground hog day all over again.......
I have gone from normal engineer, to REIN, to complex faults, to HLE and PTO which I was told is the highest we can go and now you seem to be telling me we have just gone higher still........
With every level of escalation it has just made the situation worse, gone from faulty broadband to no broadband.....
What can this lot achieve I wonder......knock out my phone as well?........

Have you noticed that plusnet have totally ignored this as well......not responded to it at all........

Re: Migration Query

I was following your earlier recommendation of not spending time arguing with you but instead focussing on your fault.

Re: Migration Query

That was in regard to plusnet defending their short comings, not for the questions or points I raised in my first post today......
It seems very convenient that plusnet ignored my point that with sync my broadband should be working at least to some degree and as Jelv pointed out as well.......

Re: Migration Query

I/We haven't ignored your point at all.
However, I still need to hear back regarding your escalation before I can progress further, which I will chase if I've heard no further news by 2pm.

Re: Migration Query

So why didnt you or Adam respond to my point then and make me waste further time prompting a response from you, which you still haven't agreed or disagreed that I should be getting some sort of broadband.....

Why do you need to wait?......its clear my broadband should be working for the reasons I and Jelv gave......
It shouldn't need a customer to have point out  that I should be getting some sort of broadband either, plusnet should have been capable or working that out on their own, which just smacks of any possibility to fob me off.......

Nobody told me this is a popularity contest......
After having two months of garbage from plusnet the last thing I need is someone like you interfering.....

Re: Migration Query

I've had nearly six months of problems but being abusive to PlusNet staff who are trying their best to help will not help to fix it. Good manners and politeness cost nothing.

Re: Migration Query

If plusnet ever have any further updates by waiting around for BT to contact them while I still have no internet then they will have to phone me at home.......

Re: Migration Query

Hi,
The Manager I mentioned previously (at OpenReach) has come back to the HLE Team stating that he's currently chasing specifics from the engineers who have performed work on your line recently.
Once I have this information (promised later on this afternoon), I will be able to update you accordingly and query your other requests.
