IMAP Server struggling

Hi Guys,
I have just been on SquirrelMail and found the IMAP server really struggling and frequently timing out.  Is there any work done on this server?

There's a fair few of our mail collection servers struggling at the moment which I'm guessing is related. We've a couple of engineers over at one of our data centres busy repatching servers to spread the switch load.

I could not post with thunderbird Imap about 10 this morrning, went through with no trouble just now

(I am on hols about 250 miles from home)

It appears that IMAP & Squirrel holding up well.  I say it appears because recently I had frequent line drops and hence my BB speed has dropped quite a bit.
On top of this, BT Open Reach Engineers do NOT turn up for the arranged appointments.  So, all this does not help to evaluate how well the IMAP is behaving.
