HI Just joined up hoping for a great service

Was a sky customer for 12yrs but annoyed at price rise & phone service bundle change.
Why I Joined PlusNet
I have noticed the staff at PlusNet have good knowledge of the product they sell and great customer service record.
PlusNet Was cheaper than most other providers for a similar service.
can use my own router without breaking rules etc.

I will post my thoughts and opinions after a month of service

I have ADSL with sky atm and moving to FTTC with PlusNet.
Engineer due to arrive 3rd November
Will he show up? we will see  Wink

Good luck with that.. I was due my installation on 8th October.  So far? Nada.

Progress update
Kept in the loop regarding install date from plusnet.
Nov 3rd the engineer was booked to arrive and phone service to become operational.
Phone service activated bang on time with no issues
Engineer made contact day before to confirm install date and also on the day an hour before arrival.
Engineer gave a 1-5pm slot but arrived at 2:57 so quick turn around on calls to get to me at the front end of time slot.
Install took about 40 mins to complete including a journey to the cabinet to hook connect us up.
Connected now and running at 74.8mb down and 20 mb up Ping at 14ms
So my review of the service so far is 10/10
Nothing has gone wrong for me at all  Shocked

It's great to hear that you had a faultless transition & install. Your experience mirrors mine & I suspect  also that of 99.9% of PN customers. It's just a shame that occasionally things do go horribly wrong, but such is life.  Roll eyes
