Effect of Plusnet profile on pings

First two are with a Plusnet profile of 21Mb and I have no idea where that came from with a sync speed of 4192kbps
The third one is with the correct profile

Thinking out loud ... how can you be sure that the observed is solely due to the PN profile?
Were the ping graphs from different days with potentially different loading of the PN network?
Were the graphs via the same PN gateway?

That looks pretty much how I'd expect a graph to look if our line profile is higher than the BT one.  We'll be assuming there is more space than their is, so your pings will be being swamped with other traffic

Note that the really bad pings were when I was watching Top Gear on iPlayer in HD
