Really sorry to see that your fault wasn't resolved on Friday.  I've checked your engineer appointment and it's booked in for today 1pm-6pm.
My main concern is to get your service fully restored and working, I'll certainly take a look over your account to see if anything could and should have been actioned better, although I'd guess that your current situation isn't one that many of our customers experience. I know that does not make it any better for you though.
Let me know how your engineer visit goes today.

The engineer arrived and ran through the system to ensure that it was in working order, I am just hoping that it will now be stable and trouble free.
It seems that the modem / cable was faulty and below standard fitting in the first instance.
This then in reality was an easy fix and one that could have been executed easily last Thursday..if an engineer would have been called back.
I have used the ticket system to discuss the compensation or "goodwill" as you put it.
