BWY Option 2 Price Reduction Please

Hi,
I would like to suggest that the price for    BYW Option 2 be reduced to  £ 5.99 a month for those who have had this product for more than a year.
And  that they be permitted to remain on monthly contract.

This will go some way to match the products offered by other ISP.
It will show goodwill to loyal customers.
Thanks
Fab

Re: BWY Option 2 Price Reduction Please

I'm afraid there'll be no chance of Plusnet doing that. Though have you seen the latest 'Value' product? If you're amongst the lucky 80% of the population, you pay £5.99 each month for 10GB (which I acknowledge isn't as much as BBYW2).

Yes. I have seen the value product.  Its  usage limit  should also be increased to at least 15 GB
[color=blue]I am requesting the price reduction because of the other cheaper products.
Thanks

Re: BWY Option 2 Price Reduction Please

Have you looked at the different traffic prioritisation that apply to the new products which are probably more restrictive than you have now.
Maybe that's why they are cheaper ?

@Fab
Do you think Plusnet is a business or a charity?

Hi Jely,
So Plusnet were charitable when they increased the usage allowance on Option 2 to 15 GB.
They were charitable when they introduced  the Value Product 10 GB at £5.99
So can we  Option 2 customers beg for few crumbs ? lol.  Cry

Option 2 is stuck at  £14.65 for 15 GB.  Just asking for fair treatment.
Should we have the hassle of changing products or even consider moving to another cheaper ISP ?

We should be able to remain on monthly contract at reduced price.  Is that asking much ?

Hope Plusnet will look after long standing customers, who have paid off the initial costs of set-up - Connection charge - Router etc.

Thanks

Re: BWY Option 2 Price Reduction Please

Hi Fab,
When we increase the usage allowance on BBYW2 it was a product available for sale.
We do not make usage or price changes on products once we remove them from being available for sale.

Hi James,
Is that cricket ?    Shocked

It's like snakes and ladders.
We work our way up the ladder and Plusnet  changes products and sends us loyal  customers tumbling down.! Cry

Perhaps, Plusnet needs  to re-consider this practice.
After all ,  on your web site you promise :

With over 10 years experience and great value products, we keep our customers happy.
Thanks
Fab

I don't see it that way?  You are allowed to stay on exactly the product you bought - no additions, no subtractions.  Meanwhile Plusnet have a different range of options that you may elect to change to.
For various reasons I'm still on a fixed 2 Meg Premier service - and not complaining.  When I'm ready, I'll consider my options and review what's on offer.

Re: BWY Option 2 Price Reduction Please

Hi Maurice,
You are not ready.
   Cheesy
I am ready for a price reduction to match other offers.
My main point is that I have been with Plusnet for several years and don't want to restart a long term contract. Hope you can appreciate that.  I want to remain on a monthly contract. I have earned it.
I am happy with the actual product.  Although I use less than half the usage allowance. Good to have some in reserve as there are videos and TV catch up etc that I may need to use.
Also other new products may be introduced  later on.  So remaining on monthly contract is more flexible.

If Plusnet change their policy, then I am sure your life will also be easier when you are ready.

Thanks
