0844 0845 0870

I've been helping this lady set up her broadband/phone package and she's been nagging and nagging away about prices of 0844 0845 0870 numbers. I've had to trawl all through the plusent website to find the details. Why the hell can't you just list them on the http://www.plus.net/residential/tariffs/homephone.html page: 01, 02, 03, 0845, 0870 numbers: this tariff. Why do I have to spend a hour whith her nagging in my ear trying to find all this stuff?

Re: 0844 0845 0870

and re the heading  0844 are not in PN package, but see http://www.saynoto0870.com/ for alternative numbers that are.
Also heritage home phone, and not the current ones, only have 0870 in their free numbers, they dont get the 0845 (Except to the PN Service numbers)

Re: 0844 0845 0870

Hi there,
The fact that 0845 and 0870 calls are inclusive is fairly prominent on our product pages, however we have to publish the standard rate on the tariff for chargeable calls.

That shows quite clearly the cost of 01, 02,03, 0845 & 0870 numbers but not 0844.
It would be useful if that was clearly shown as they are becoming far more common and are not included in "inclusive minutes".

Re: 0844 0845 0870

0844 depends on the rest of the number and there are an enormous number of variations
You unfortunately need to check the official BT listing to find out which band they are in and then check the band in the Plusnet prices

Re: 0844 0845 0870

Only the British could have such a complex charging system. To further confuse, the BT list goes up to g28 but the PN one only goes to g25  Huh

You need to read that in conjunction with http://www.serviceview.bt.com/list/public/current/Call_Charges_boo/0016_d0e5.htm#0016-d0e5 if you want to find the BT cost. Grin Grin Grin
I expect you need to add the "call connection charge" etc etc etc...

Re: 0844 0845 0870

As has been posted in here, 0844 numbers don't have a set rate, it's dependant on the rest of the number being dialled.
