@skimmod it depends. What Plusnet product are you on, Fibre or Full Fibre ?

@skimmod welcome to the forum.

That depends on the product you are on.

For part Fibre (copper to property) you will need a modem, Plusnet Hub two has that function - Bridge mode

For Full Fibre you connect the Deco system directly to the ONT

In both situations the Deco is set to 'Wireless router mode'

You configure the Internet connection to PPPoE using your accountname@plusdsl.net with the password used for the your members centre account

thanks for getting back to me!

it's fibre all the way in.

is the ONT, the cable coming out the wall? (sorry, i'm not as technically minded as i would like to be!)

The ONT is where the fibre to your property terminates, so yes.

You need a cable from the ONT to the WAN port to the Deco configured as the router. (For the Hub Two the WAN port is next to the power socket.)

The Quick Guide which came with the units should show you the connection details and internet setup

@skimmod

Its the small white box that Openreach installed when they installed Full Fibre. It's connected to the Plusnet Hub 2 with an ethernet cable. You just connect the ethernet cable to the WAN port on the BE9300 instead and configure it as described above

edit: @Dan_the_Van beat me to it😀
