Strange Question I know.
At times the speed of my 5GHZ wifi (Split Channels) maxes out at 27- 30Mb/s when connected to my 4K Television set.
The connection settings on the router show it's connected at 780 Mb/s yet it regularly connects at this lower speed.
This limits the connection speeds that files can be streamed in the house.
A restart seems to make a limited fix, but then randomly the system locks up at no more than 30Mb/s, meaning 4K files just stutter.
I'm on the latest published Firmware ...22.214.171.124.83.8.263
The router is behind the TV and couldn't be closer, so its not being blocked by anything physical.
Can anyone suggest anything?
All this is due to LG being cheap and only fitting 100MB ethernet NIC's in 2020 4k sets and forcing me into using WIFI to reach the speeds 4k needs at times.
