I live in a three‑storey house and had to install a mesh system because the Wi‑Fi signal in my third‑floor office was weak. After adding one mesh node on each floor, everything works well.
I’m currently using a Linksys mesh system, but it’s limited to a maximum speed of 100 Mbps.
I’ll soon be switching to Full Fibre 300 and will receive a Plusnet Smart Hub 2. Can I continue using my existing mesh with the Smart Hub 2 by connecting the first node via Ethernet and leaving the others set up as they are?
Also, is the Plusnet Smart Hub 2 locked? If it isn’t, I’d appreciate recommendations for mesh systems that work well with it.

@momer79 See my reply to your first topic.
When you ask 'Also, is the Plusnet Smart Hub 2 locked?' what do you mean by 'locked'?
Hopefully, some better qualified/experienced forum users will respond on here.

Best advice (in my opinion) is to wait until you have Full Fibre installed and running and then see what you need.

is the Plusnet Smart Hub 2 locked
Yes it's locked, there is no telnet or ssh interface, no direct remote management, no hidden features that can be used. it is not supported by any third party firmware like openWRT.
Further advice has been given on your the other thread you have regarding mesh systems.
