Re: Tp link AX3000 (AX53)

I used username@plusdsl.net (as the address given to me when I first signed up), should it not include the ‘plus’ in the address ?

@jjones2208 you are correct, It should be username@plusdsl.net. Check the username & password you are using by logging in to the member centre here https://www.plus.net/member-centre/login

Note that there, you dont need the @plusdsl.net suffix, just the username

Re: Tp link AX3000 (AX53)

@jjones2208  The  PPPoE WAN setting along with the Plusnet username and password should be all that is required. Read the earlier posts in this thread about not needing a VLAN ID to be set in the router, check that VLAN ID is not enabled.

Re: Tp link AX3000 (AX53)

Hi,

Yes I have checked the user/password and typed in the username@plusdsl.net again saved the info and rebooted router, but it’s still showing as not connected.

Is there any other settings I need to change?

It’s currently using the default MAC address for the new router, should this be a clone of the plusnet router?

VLan is set to not enabled

Just reset the router credentials and started again, something must have been different this time as it’s now connected ok!, very odd.

Thanks to all that’s helped!

Re: Tp link AX3000 (AX53)

@jjones2208 - during the last half hour, I'm seeing failed connection attempts due to an incorrect password so I'm assuming you're getting somewhere?

Re: Tp link AX3000 (AX53)

Hi,

It looks like my password was incorrect, but after resetting it appears to be working. All good now thanks
