Evening
I’ve been trawling through various posts to try find the answer but its not sinking in
so I have fttp 900 and hub 2, I have decided to update things a little and throw WiFi 6e into the mix so I purchased the tp link axe540.
I plugged it directly into the ont and it went through some stuff I set the connection as ppoe and input my plus net username and password but it kept saying incorrect details
plugged the hub 2 back in plugged the deco into a lan port and then created a new WiFi network and worked brilliantly, I then put the hub 2 into bridge mode and my internet connection goes
so I’m unsure what I’ve done wrong?
at the moment both hub 2 and deco running side by side and I’m connected to the deco but I’d like to eliminate the hub if possible
any advice appreciated
Fixed! Go to the fix.

@andyf11 Bridge mode on the Hub 2 cannot be used for Full Fibre, it only applies to FTTC (VDSL2) connections, so get rid of the Hub 2. Set up PPPoE mode on the TP Link with WAN connection to the ONT as @mystreet1 has described and make sure there is no VLAN id enabled. The Openreach VLAN id is removed by the ONT.
