Re: Switching from BT to Plusnet

@arbeeuk Once you have switched, you will need to replace your BT credentials with your Plusnet ones, otherwise it won't work.

Re: Switching from BT to Plusnet

@arbeeuk  Welcome to the Plusnet Community Fora.

On the switch over day you need to disconnect the DSL lead (or WAN input if you are on Full Fibre). Note that this is essential else it won’t work. Then change the username to your account Plusnet account username followed by @plusdsl.net and your account password. Don’t forget to save if you have the option. Note that on the changeover day it can take any time up to midnight for the Plusnet end to be activated.

Note that unless you are using the BT hub with mesh satellites, you will find little difference between your current hub and the Plusnet Hub 2, which is a Smarthub 2 with tweeked firmware.

Re: Switching from BT to Plusnet

In that case, @arbeeuk , the PN hub should auto-configure.

... and if you change the WiFi settings to those currently in your BT Hub2 ... you will not need to reconfigure all of your WiFi devices.
