Router noise

Hi PlusNet

The router you provided - a SagemCom Plusnet Hub One - makes a hissing or loose/touching internal wire noise  - this surely can't be right?

With the model of router that you've got, it may make a bit of noise from time to time during periods of heavy usage. One way to reduce the noise of the router is to split the wireless frequencies into separate networks and there's a guide on how to do this, here.

I'd recommend doing this before anything else to see if it quietens the router down a bit as it more often than not will have this effect.
