Router alarm

My Plusnet router 1 makes a beeping noise like an alarm clock every now and again. I didn’t know it had an alarm and don’t know what it indicates as the light remains blue. I’d ignore it but it seems to happen in the early hours of the morning. Any ideas what it is and how to disable.

It doesn't have an alarm, so this is an interesting post. What exactly does it sound like? Are you certain it couldn't be anything else?

Thanks. I did wonder why it would have an alarm. We’ve had it years with no issue. We’ve recently had a Hive installed and it’s in the same room so I’m now thinking it may be that. It tends to go off in the early hours so I’m half asleep when I go to investigate.
