Hello,
I wouldnlike to return my old router. I am not able to get a QR code for it, as it only shows my new router.
Where can I get help?
How can I return my old one?
Thank you !

If you don't get an acceptable answer to your question, you can recycle your router in many high street shops that sell electrical items.
Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations, many of these retailers offer "like-for-like" recycling (meaning they take your old item if you buy a new replacement from them), while several larger high street stores accept any small tech for free, no purchase required. [1, 2, 3]
Stores Accepting Any Small Electricals (No Purchase Required)
- Currys: You can drop off any small tech (such as routers, cables, kettles, or laptops) to be recycled for free in-store, even if you did not buy the item from them. Read the full Currys Recycling Policy. [1, 2, 3]
- B&Q: Provides dedicated in-store recycling units near entrances or checkouts for small household electrical items, lightbulbs, and batteries for free. Read the full B&Q WEEE Service Policy. [1, 2]
- John Lewis & Partners: Accepts any very small electrical waste (items under 25cm on their longest edge) completely free of charge in-store without needing to buy a replacement. Read the full John Lewis Home Appliance and Disposal Services. [1, 2, 3]
- Asda: Supermarkets accept any small electrical item under 30cm on its longest edge at their customer service desks with no receipt required. Read the full Asda Customer Electrical Waste Recycling Policy. [1]

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Yes indeed! I didn't think of that option.
I'll be able to drop it off at my nearby Currys and finally get rid of it.
Many thanks!

When you throw out your old router, consider whether it is worth keeping the mains adaptor which might be a useful spare for some other device in the future ?. Just a thought.
